Turn Pages |
You can click the left arrow to go
back in the score a page or the right arrow to move forward in the
score a page. |

Playback Device |
Click on this
control to choose a different playback device. Devices that are
installed on your computer will list. Example: If you have a
keyboard hooked up to your computer and wish to have the sheet music
play back through the keyboard, you will need to choose an external
device from the drop down list such as MPU-401 or an Out USB if you
are using a USB connector. |

Play |
Click on this control to begin
playing the music from the first measure. TIP: If you can view all
pages of the score such as with our Gold and Diamond member titles,
you can just point your mouse to the beginning of any measure and
click, and it will start to play from there. You can also hit the
spacebar on your computer keyboard to start the music and hit again
to stop. |

Pause |
Click on this
control to pause the music at any point. Clicking on this control
again, or the play control, will resume the music. |

Stop |
Click on this control to stop the
music at any point. |
 |
Rew |
Click on this
control to quickly "rewind" to a different point in the score. You
will hear the notes play strangely as it rewinds - that is perfectly
normal. |

FF |
Click on this control to quickly
"fast forward" to a different point in the score. You will hear the
notes play strangely as it fast forwards - that is perfectly normal. |
 |
Tempo |
Click on this
control to adjust the speed at which the music plays. Moving the
slider to the left will slow the tempo down while moving it to the
right will speed it up. Refresh the page, or move the slider to the
middle to return the music to the original tempo. |

Change Instrument |
Click on this control to change the
instrument sound and key for the top line of the score. (usually the
top line is the melody) Example: If you choose the instrument
'Clarinet in B flat' the top line of the score will play as clarinet
sound and the music for that top line will be automatically
transposed correctly to allow a clarinetist to play the music and
match the other staffs in the proper pitch. Instruments that are
transposable will be adjusted automatically. Instruments that are
not transposable will play back with their sound but in the same key
as the original score.

Transpose |
Click on this
control to rewrite the music into any key - up or down. The music is
transposed in less than 2 seconds, something that would have taken
hours to do by hand.
