Description: This was originally going to be called Pulling Taffy, but my mother listened to it and said that it sounded like Folklorico dancers. So, I asked my Spanish speaking friends what Dance of Christmas sounded like and they helped me come up with this title. My first year ensemble is going to be playing this with the fifth grade guitar ensembles this year. Wish us luck.

In 1832, Burgmuller moved to Paris where he composed light piano salon pieces and became very popular with the Parisians. He supplemented his income by teaching and composed several etudes (studies) for the piano which are still widely used as standard teaching works today.
